TribeTalk: Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS)

PCOS has a new name - and a lot of questions that come with it. Polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS) was officially renamed in The Lancet in May 2026, reflecting that this is a whole-body condition affecting hormones, metabolism, mental health, skin, and cardiovascular health - not just the ovaries. Join us for a live conversation on what the change means and what it means for your care. More details coming soon.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about TribElle events.

What is a TribeTalk?

TribeTalks are free monthly webinars hosted by TribElle, the UK's only online pharmacy built for women. Each session brings together our clinical team and expert guest speakers to have real conversations about women's health - from PMOS and menopause to GLP-1 treatments and mental health. Sessions run for 45 minutes and are open to everyone.

Are TribElle events free to attend?

Yes. All TribeTalk webinars are completely free. Register via Eventbrite and join live online. Past event recaps are available on TribElle's Instagram page.

What is PMOS - and why is TribElle talking about it?

PMOS stands for polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome - the new name for polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), agreed through a global consensus process and published in The Lancet in May 2026. The rename reflects that this is a whole-body condition affecting hormones, metabolism, mental health, skin, and cardiovascular health. Up to 70% of those affected remain undiagnosed. TribElle is hosting a free webinar on PMOS on 2 July 2026.

What are GLP-1 treatments and can a pharmacist answer my questions?

GLP-1 receptor agonists are a class of medications used for weight management, including Mounjaro (tirzepatide) and Wegovy (semaglutide). Our Superintendent Pharmacist Julie Boora is hosting a free live Q&A on 18 June 2026 where you can ask anything - whether you are already using a GLP-1 or considering starting.

Is TribElle a registered pharmacy?

Yes. TribElle is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC Registration 9012688). It is the UK's only online pharmacy built specifically for women.
